Malcolm
Wright, Chief
Compliance Officer at Diginex, joined Aziz Ahmad from UTC Associates, Oliver
Roethig from Uni Europe and Anna Biondi from the ILO on a panel at “The Common Good in the
Digital Age” event organized by Vatican City State in October to share updates on eMin, the
blockchain app to help eradicate modern slavery, as well as to discuss how technology can help us to address the
opportunities and challenges in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs).
Malcolm was also part of a group of guests from the event that
were granted an audience with His Holiness Pope Francis. Malcolm
commented: “It was great to be able to showcase the great work the eMin team
has been doing to reduce the prevalence of forced labour in global supply
chains, and a true honour to meet His Holiness.”
